Liga MX: Comparing the rosters for the Clásico Joven Final

Forwards

Cruz Azul: Martín Cauteruccio, Milton Caraglio, Andrés Renteríia

Cauteruccio is most often the lone striker whose effectiveness has been a bit less than hoped for. He is occasionally too static and fails to present himself for passes. His shooting accuracy is below par and it is not unusual for him to go it alone when he has a chance for a drop-off or a combination. Caraglio is better in the air than Cauteruccio and hustles a bit more too. Rentería is a smooth, elusive forward who has missed time with injury.

América: Roger Martínez, Oribe Peralta, Henry Martín

Martínez was brought on to score goals and he has not produced. He has skills but probably suffered from playing with individualists like Domínguez and Ibarguen. Peralta is a capable passer, can create room in tight spaces and fights like hell, but his finishing skills are eroding. Martín has produced when given the opportunity, but has difficulty finding his own shot.

Advantage: EVEN
