It’s a spicy Taco Tuesday:

Two Liga MX will try to overcome a deficit tonight against the MLS teams that beat them.  While some may frame this as Mexico vs USA, it is not.  It’s not possible because there are so many foreign nationals playing for each side. This comes down to the club style of soccer.  Each representing themselves in the CONCACAF Champions League Quarter Final.  None of that matters because it is Taco Tuesday once again.

Last week Taco Tuesday was usurped by the voting primaries.  Who you voted for does not matter to us at Viva Liga MX. We absolutely do not care.  The only rule we have here at Viva Liga Mx is that you leave all your problems at the door when you walk into a taco establishment.  You need not be a fan of soccer on a regular basis.  When Tuesday comes around, we want you eating tacos with your friends, drinking beer, and watching Liga MX.  Though tonight is CONCACAF Champions League, we want you out there living it up.  Hitting on some ‘Mamacitas’ gets you extra points.

Tigres Vs. Toronto FC

The battle between Liga MX side Tigres (Tigers) vs. MLS side Toronto FC (Toronto Soccer Club) is the most important match of the night.  The deficit the Tigres are up against is not that steep and the likelihood of a win is plausible.  It’s at the minimal difference and nobody wants to lose to a Canadian side.  I’m sure that a Cambodian second tier soccer team would feel shame losing to anything Canada related.  I wouldn’t even question putting a whole little league soccer team up for foster care if they lost to the Canadian National Team.

Due to these reasons, and the fact they’re playing at home, I can assume that Tigres are going to leave their hearts on the field and so will Toronto FC.  Toronto has a lot to contend —  who’s happy to be from Canada? Either way, check out the highlights from their last clash and get hyped:

Tijuana vs New York Red Bulls

Tijuana won the Liga MX title in 2012.  It was their first and only.  In order to reach such heights ever again, they must not let a 2-0 loss get them down.  In reality, it should have been 2-1 but the referee got that offside call wrong.  Tijuana has a tougher hill to overcome, but if you call yourself La Jauria (Pack of Hounds) then these are the odds you crave.  Check out the highlights, and the travesty of a call here:

If you aren’t out with your buddies on Taco Tuesday, you’re living life the wrong way.
