Prediction

Similar to how the first match in Toluca went for Las Aguilas, I think this first match with Pumas will be a disappointing but not overly crushing draw. Pumas will certainly be happy to head to Estadio Azteca knotted up in goals, and America will be content with the away goals advantage. From a fan perspective, I just hope to not be slamming my head off the wall because America jumps out to another early lead, only to see it slip away as they play timid, defensive futbol to try to run out the clock. I fear that is all I keep envisioning, though that may just still be the sour taste from the 1st round. Pumas, on the other hand, would be perfectly fine with such a match. They were in a worse situation against Tigres after the 1st leg, so they’ll be happy with a draw in this one.
