Rayados de Monterrey is currently one of the lowest-performing teams at the start of the Clausura 2020 and It is due to a lot of factors being put in place.

Rayados de Monterrey, the current champion of the Liga MX has made a complete 180-degree turn in their performances in the Clausura 2020, with zero wins, one draw and two losses placing them second to last in the league standings with only one point has raised a lot of concern with their fans and in the community of the league.

Antonio Mohamed’s team started the Clausura with a 2-2 draw versus Monarcas Morelia that did not create a big concern at the moment but then the next results are what has sunken Monterrey deep in the standings.  A 1-0 loss in the third week of the tournament versus Pumas and most recently the 2-1 loss to Queretaro, has created tension in the team on what could happen next. They were in the same situation throughout the Apertura 2019 under Diego Alonso tactics that caused a drastic change almost past midway of the Apertura 2019 that brought in Mohamed and made them Champions beating Club America.

Certainly, Rayados would not like scramble in finding a new coach halfway through the tournament once again with the team that they have on the field. But like always one of the situations a club faces is the injuries and movement of bringing and deporting players out of the team.

Currently, Rodolfo Pizarro would not be included in Wednesday match against Necaxa due to his ongoing movement to the MLS club team Inter Miami as well, Leonel Vangioni and Dorlan Pabon would miss a few games due to high injuries they picked up. Makes sense on why Rayados could continue being unleveled in their performances in the next few matches, but Mohamed should know how to manage his team if he desires to continue in the club.

Rayados de Monterrey needs to spark up a change drastically before their ship continues to skink In the Liga MX and they should start that against Necaxa on Wednesday night at the Estadio Victoria, home of Los Rayos de Necaxa.
