On January 10, on the week 16th of the Primeira Liga, FC Porto visited Moreirense where at the 85th minute of the second half, Corona was filtered a through pass on the right-hand side of his area and tapped the ball up for a quick volley but surprising Corona finessed the ball into the goalkeeper net. A true beauty that gave Porto the 4th goal of the night ending the score in a total of 4-2. Recently the Portuguese league rewarded the Mexican forward with the goal of the month and simply who could deny the fact that It is a true beauty that you can rewatch many times.

Currently, Corona has played 20 games with a total of two goals and 10 assist helping Porto stay as close as possible to the leader of the league standings with 50 points just 4 points shy from Benfica.

At the moment Porto campaign across the board has been on a rollercoaster ride since they were eliminated from the UEFA Champions league but currently, they await their next game in the Europa League where they will have to face the German club team, Bayern Leverkusen on the 20th and 27th of February in the Round of 32.

Corona is just one of the few Mexican players in the European continent that has been consistently playing with his club team and should continue to be counted with the national team of Mexico if Gerardo Martino takes the time to recognize that Corona is one of the few playmakers in the team. “Tecatito”, holds many experiences with just 27 years of age as he has participated in n two Copa America’s, 1 World Cup in 2018, and winning a Gold Cup in 2015.
