The Clausura 2020 is halfway through the tournament and one of the surprising teams of the tournament so far is FC Juarez.

Los Bravos continues to amaze many fans as they beat the current champion of the Liga MX, Rayados de Monterrey in the Copa MX, the first leg in the semifinals of the tournament in front of their home crowd. Of course, we all know that Rayados is in an awkward position in general as they stand last in the league standings with only 3 points but still one has to fully credit FC Juarez with their consistency of play in both the Clausura 2020 and the Copa MX. Now they are one game away from reaching the final of the Copa MX.

In Clausura 2020, FC Juarez is currently in the 4th place position of the league standings with 15 points, with four wins, two draws and only two losses making them one of the favorite teams to watch in the Liga MX. Compared to their foggy and terrible appearance in Apertura 2019, Los Bravos now are in a position to be a contender going to the Liguilla if possible and it is due to their high explosive offensive side on the field. Gabriel Caballero coach of FC Juarez turned them into a power stem as they are the second-best team with the highest goal-scoring in the Clausura 2020 with 17 goals just below the super leader of the tournament, Cruz Azul with 19 goals. Leading the way with the most goals for Los Bravos is forward Dario Lezcano of Paraguay standing also in the fourth place position with 5 goals in the tournament.

On Sunday, Los Bravos will once again have a hard task ahead of them as they will welcome Leon in what will determine if whether or not FC Juarez can stay in the top positions in the Liga MX. Leon is coming off two hard losses, one against Chivas losing 2-0 as the visiting team this past Saturday for the Jornada 8 and right before that they lost the lead in the CONCACAF Champions League to LA FC to the hands of Carlos Vela.

If all goes as planned we could witness FC Juarez as the super leader of the tournament or simply just climb the league standings.
