With the worldwide crisis that is currently going on with COVID-19, Corona Virus, it seems that the Liga MX is the only league that is still moving forward with their games despite a lot of backlash of not postponing the Clausura 2020.

In recent days across the world, the COVID-19 has caused many countries to shut all sporting events due to the high increase of the virus. Just recently the following leagues decided to postpone their season with high rising risk factors of players having symptoms and as well the country itself having high growth of the virus within the population.

La Liga in Spain, the English Premier League in England, the Bundesliga in Germany, Ligue 1 in France,  Serie A in Italy and the MLS in the United States took measurable steps to stop all sporting actions until further notice and one can wonder on why the Liga MX is the only league across the globe moving further with the Clausura 2020.

A definite answer has not been giving by the FMF in recent days if they will stop all activities but they have pushed for the league to move quickly and have a back to back games after the Jornada 10 finishes the Jornada 11 will take mid-week in case if the situation escalates actions have been taken place already. But that does not make sense truly since the CONCACAF Champions League has been stopped until further notice and also the Olympic qualifying that was supposed to take place from March 20- April 1 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico has been delayed as well.

It seems that everyone is up to date and does not want to take any chances but as for the Liga MX all games will still take place as long as hand sanitizer Is given out to the fans before the enter the stadium and having the stadium heavily cleaned before the games get started but that could not fully stop the virus from spreading as many do not know clearly how It is spread.

dark. Next. Leave Chicharito Alone

Truthfully, a definite answer could not be placed if the Liga MX should be postponed because many are split on what should happen next, some say that we should not exaggerate and continue while others say that It’s better to stop the Clausura 2020 for the security of everyone health. Moving forward, the Liga MX should continue monitoring this very closely before It could be too late with the spreading of the virus.
