Raul Jimenez could return to Madrid in the summer but not with Atletico Madrid but with the prestigious club team in the entire world, Real Madrid if it all goes according to the plan.

According to a recent report by Don Balon, the Mexican striker who is currently with Wolverhampton in the English Premier League could possibly see action with a new team if the move is made with Real Madrid in the summertime.

The current manager of Los Merengues, Zinedine Zidane is weighing his options as Luka Jovic has not met expectations as he has scored only two goals this season and has not kept his name out the news for outside field activities. As well, since the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo, the 33-year-old French striker, Karim Benzema has not demonstrated a high level of play that has led to an inconsistency season so far.

So far Benzema has a total of 14 goals and 6 assist in the season but those numbers are unusual for the French striker. So all of this gathering up could lead Madrid to have the 28-year-old Mexican striker link up with the French striker for the 2020/2021 season in the sense to compete for the ultimate starting spot in the top field for Real Madrid.

Jimenez currently has outstanding numbers in the English Premier League this season as he has scored 22 goals, 10 assists in 44 games in all competitions under the tactics of Nuno Espirito Santo which has led the Mexican striker to have a value of $55 million according to Transfermkt. Previously, Madrid had paid a well over 60 million for Jovic last summer and could It be a suitable price to get Jimenez during the summertime. Surely, Madrid would not mind paying the cash for the Mexican striker!

If Jimenez were to join Los Merengues he would be the third Mexican to follow the steps of his compatriots Hugo Sanchez and Javier Hernandez who have made their own mark within the club if it was either in a long or short period of time. Jimenez without a doubt would be a special player if he is brought on with Los Merengues as he is a skillful player on the field and will respond when the time is needed.
