Sebastian Abreu to Chivas?
Well, we are not kidding about this but if you do remember Sebastian “El Loco” Abreu throughout his time in the Liga MX then surely you will know that his son, Diego Abreu wants to build his own legacy in Mexico.
Diego Abreu, who is currently 16 years of age is slowly making a name for himself as he has already participated with the youth team of the national team of Mexico and has slowly started to make a name for himself due to his playing style that almost mimics his father, Sebastian Abreu.
Just recently, Diego Abreu was been called up for the U-18 squad of Mexico a few weeks back before the entire pandemic situation occurred of the coronavirus that has many wondered if the youngster would continue to be part of El Tricolor. Abreu currently plays the same position just like his father as a central forward and has scored a well over of 80 goals in Uruguay with the club team Defensor Sporting U-19 that has sparked much attraction due to his high scoring plays.
In recent rumors that have started to swirl around, Abreu has stated that he is interested in playing with the top historic club team of the Liga MX, Las Chivas Rayadas de Guadalajara, which has made a topic of discussion of the current moment. Although, Chivas has yet made any attempts or made any declaration on bringing the youngster in It would be interesting to see if It indeed could happen in the near future with the high profile Abreu carries.
Abreu’s father is no stranger in the Liga MX has he participated in a good number of club teams during his tenure in Mexico, playing with Cruz Azul, America, Tigres, Tecos UAG, Dorados, Rayados and with San Luis. Currently, Abreu is playing as the player-coach for Boston River in Uruguay something odd that you do not hear in any league.
