A few days ago the coach of Tigres, Ricardo Ferretti, had a 10 year anniversary with the club team that many should respect after many victorious tournaments in the Liga MX. Indeed Ferretti should be labeled as a masterful tactician of the Liga MX!

On the 20th of May in 2010, Ricardo Ferretti returned once again to Tigres after his first spell from 2000 to 2003, then once again in 2006 and finally has been dedicated to the team since the last decade where Ferretti turned Tigres to a top respected club team across the league. Ferretti quickly turned Tigres away from going to the second division where he has won five Liga MX championships, one Copa MX, three Campeon de Campeones, one InterLiga, and finally one Campeones Cup.

As well, most importantly reaching a Copa Libertadores final in 2015 where they came up short facing the top team from Argentina, River Plate. Not only has that been outstanding but in the last 19 tournaments of the Liga MX, Ferretti club team has reached the Liguilla 16 times where they have truly become a tough team to beat in the throughout the playoff games.

Along with those historic numbers, Ferretti holds the record on staying constant with a club team, beating Raul Arias who coached Necaxa for seven years in the Liga MX, including Antonio Carabajal who coached Morelia from 1985 through 1995. Now Ferretti is searching to overcome the long strive of the legendary coach, Javier de la Torre who was with Chivas from 1960 through 1973.

Now with almost 500 games in total in the last decade coaching Tigres, Ferretti has one more year remaining in his contract with the club team and although there have speculations of his retirement from coaching we can surely adore and respect the resume that the Brazilian coach has made in the Liga MX. Easily one of the top coaches to ever place a foot in Mexico!
