COVID-19 still affecting the Liga MX

The Liga MX just as many leagues across the world were highly affected of the on going pandemic of the COVID-19 and it seems like every week the league the numbers stay constant across various club teams in Mexico.

Since March of this year, the Liga MX had to make dramatic changes to their league including of terminating the Clausura 2020 as the pandemic continue to outgrow across the country of Mexico and it as the tournament of the Guard1anes 2020 is halfway done, the numbers have declined a bit but they have stayed constant at the moment.

One of the teams that has been greatly affected due to “Coronavirus” currently is the 15th place Xolos de Tijuana where they currently have 10 points in the tournament so far with three wins, one draw and six losses under Pablo Guede direction. News broke out across the league that a total of 7 positive cases in the club team Xolos de Tijuana is currently dealing with which is four players and three coaching staff including the leader of the team, coach Pablo Guede. All the 7 cases in Xolos are are asymptomatic, and they are already in isolation and under medical observation, as indicated by the Health authorities and Liga MX.

Xolos are currently coming off a tough loss versus Cruz Azul losing at home in a close match, 2-1 that deepen their standing in the Liga MX league standings. Xolos now will look to restart their atmosphere once again as they welcome to the “Dark Horse” team of the Guard1anes 2020 tournament as they face FC Juarez on Friday. Juarez will not be an easy team to just take lightly as they currently sit in the ninth position with 13 points.

As the Guard1anes 2020 tournament continues to take its march the league still conducts their games behind closed doors as it should to continue to monitor the cases across the league.
