Each game brought its own story of determination, comebacks, and standout performances that kept fans on edge from start to finish.
Here’s a full recap of every match from a spectacular round in Mexican women’s football.
Friday, October 10
León 2–5 Pachuca
The clash between León and Pachuca turned into a goal fest that ended in a convincing victory for the visitors. León got off to a dream start with goals from Yashira Barrientos and Kristal Soto within the first 12 minutes, raising hopes for an upset.
However, Pachuca responded with ruthless efficiency. Myra Delgadillo opened the scoring for Las Tuzas, followed by Charlyn Corral’s double. Nina Nicosia and Vaitiare Robles added to the tally before halftime, completing an extraordinary first-half comeback.
Pachuca’s attacking power once again proved too much to handle. León fought hard but couldn’t keep up with the pace and precision of the Hidalgo side, who look every bit like title contenders.
Club América 1–2 Tigres
One of the most anticipated duels of the week didn’t disappoint. Tigres defeated América 2-1 at the Estadio Azteca in an intense and emotional battle between two of the league’s giants.
Diana Ordóñez stole the spotlight, scoring both goals for Tigres — one in the 19th minute and another dramatic strike at the 90th. Irene Guerrero had momentarily tied the game for América in the 72nd, but the visitors’ resilience shone through once again.
With this victory, Tigres solidify their dominance at the top of the table. América showed flashes of brilliance but will need more defensive discipline to challenge the northern powerhouse.
Tijuana 1–4 Monterrey
Monterrey continued their strong form with a convincing 4-1 win away to Tijuana. The Rayadas were clinical and well-organized, dictating the tempo from start to finish.
Diana García opened the scoring in the 27th minute, followed by goals from Alice Soto and Christina Burkenroad. Jermaine Seoposenwe completed the rout at the 90th minute, while Kader Hançar scored the lone goal for Tijuana in the second half.
The visitors’ attacking chemistry was on full display, with multiple players contributing to the scoreline. Tijuana showed effort and creativity, but Monterrey’s depth and execution made the difference.
Saturday, October 11
Pumas 3–4 Atlas
In one of the most thrilling matches of the round, Atlas edged Pumas in a seven-goal spectacle filled with drama and late heroics. Both teams traded attacks in a game where neither defense could keep up.
Atlas struck through Sanjuana Muñoz, Kayla Fernández, Renata Huerta, and Juliet Nalukenge, who sealed the win in stoppage time. Stephanie Ribeiro scored twice for Pumas, and Michelle González added another, but it wasn’t enough.
The result marks a huge boost for Atlas, who showed composure under pressure. Pumas, despite their offensive fireworks, were undone by defensive lapses that cost them valuable points at home.
Cruz Azul 4–1 Santos Laguna
Cruz Azul continued their great run of form with a dominant 4-1 victory over Santos Laguna. Niomi Grimaldo starred with a brace, scoring in the 1st and 48th minutes to lead her team to another big win.
Aerial Chavarin and Ana Martínez completed the scoring for La Máquina, while Mayra Santana found the net for Santos. Despite brief resistance, the visitors couldn’t match Cruz Azul’s intensity and quick transitions.
With this win, Cruz Azul climbs higher in the standings and proves they’re a serious threat this season. Santos, meanwhile, will need to tighten up defensively to bounce back.

FC Juárez 2–1 Necaxa
FC Juárez claimed an important home victory over Necaxa in a tightly contested match. The Bravas started strong and showed greater control throughout the first half.
Norma Duarte opened the scoring early on, but Necaxa equalized through Winibian Peralta. Just before halftime, Julitha Singano restored Juárez’s lead with a decisive strike that proved to be the winner.
The win keeps Juárez in the fight for playoff contention, demonstrating their ability to grind out results. Necaxa showed good intent but fell short in execution during key moments.
Mazatlán 0–3 Querétaro
Querétaro dominated their visit to Mazatlán, earning a comfortable 3-0 victory. The Gallos Femenil controlled possession and created numerous chances from the opening whistle.
Alexa Herrera opened the scoring in the 28th minute, followed by María Pérez and Lady Andrade, who sealed the result late in the game. Mazatlán struggled to keep up and failed to generate danger in attack.
The win reinforces Querétaro’s positive momentum as they continue climbing the table. Mazatlán, on the other hand, will need to regroup quickly to avoid further setbacks.
Sunday, October 12
Guadalajara 1–1 Puebla
Chivas were held to a 1-1 draw by Puebla in a tough game at the Estadio Akron. The home team had the majority of possession but couldn’t convert their dominance into goals.
Liliana Fernández put Puebla ahead midway through the match, stunning the local crowd. Carolina Jaramillo leveled the score in the 75th minute to salvage a point for Guadalajara.
Although Chivas maintained their home unbeaten streak, the result leaves them with mixed feelings. Puebla’s disciplined defense and sharp counterattacks earned them a valuable away point.
Atlético San Luis 1–1 Toluca
Atlético San Luis and Toluca shared the spoils in a balanced and hard-fought encounter. Both sides pressed high and battled fiercely for control in midfield.
Toluca struck first through Cinthya Peraza, but Ilana Izquierdo equalized for the hosts in the 67th minute after capitalizing on a defensive lapse. The match ended evenly, with neither team able to find a late breakthrough.
The draw reflects each side’s current stage — competitive but still lacking the cutting edge to secure consistent victories. San Luis and Toluca will look to build on this point in upcoming matches.
This round of Liga MX Femenil offered everything fans could ask for: drama, intensity, and goals galore. Tigres and Pachuca confirmed their status as top contenders, while Atlas and Monterrey thrilled with their attacking flair. At the same time, draws like those in Guadalajara and San Luis highlighted the balance and unpredictability that make the league so exciting.
