Club América played its last home game at the Estadio Ciudad de los Deportes without its fans. The 2-0 win over CF Pachuca felt different in comparison to other games because of the lack of atmosphere.
The previous game at the Estadio Ciudad de los Deportes was played behind closed doors due to an issue with La Alcaldía Benito Juárez.
The Benito Juárez Mayor's Office published a statement that the game against Pachuca last weekend was to be played with no fans due to problems between the neighbors in the area and the security personnel of Club América
The Benito Juárez Mayor's Office has now announced that the upcoming Club América home games will be played at the Estadio Ciudad de los Deportes with fans, starting with the league game against Chivas de Guadalajara, after an agreement was made.

Alternative Stadium Club América were Considering to Play at
According to 365 Scores México, América was considering playing home games at Queretaro's Estadio Corregidora. Liga MX reportedly refused this request, but Liga MX president Mikel Arriola promised to resolve the past issue involving the Estadio Ciudad de los Deportes.
América has played at Club Puebla's stadium, the Estadio Cuauhtémoc, for their home games in the past. Club América will soon return to the Estadio Azteca when it fully reopens next year.
The Estadio Azteca is expected to reopen in March, in time for the 2026 World Cup. In the meantime, América will still consider the Estadio Ciudad de los Deportes home for their fans.
Club América fans, are you excited to see fans back in the Estadio Ciudad de los Deportes for a home game, or are you still impatient for the return to Estadio Azteca?
