Liga MX Femenil returns for an eighth year, following its inaugural season in 2017.
The Most Recent Champions
Pachuca Femenil were crowned champions of the Clausura 2025 after defeating Club América with a 3–2 aggregate score. With this result, they became the fifth team in Liga MX Femenil history to win a title: Tigres (6), Monterrey (5), América (2), Chivas (2), and now Las Tuzas with their first championship. They finally lifted the trophy after four finals appearances, having previously finished as runners-up three times (2017, 2022, 2023), sealing their first title with the Clausura 2025.

- Charlyn Corral: A club legend, scored 26 goals and won the Golden Boot, leading the team to the championship.
- Esthefanny Barreras: A key figure in goal, named MVP of the final.

Tournament Kickoff
The Apertura 2025 of Liga MX Femenil will kick off on Friday, 11 June, with the match between Necaxa and Mazatlán at Estadio Victoria.
Key Debuts
On Sunday, 13 July, two days after the season begins, the reigning champions Pachuca Femenil will debut against Puebla Femenil. Las Tuzas will visit La Franja at 12:00 p.m. (CST), looking to start their title defense with a win.
Meanwhile, runners-up América Femenil will also kickstart their season on the same day at 5:00 p.m. (CST) at Estadio Ciudad de los Deportes, playing at home against Cruz Azul Femenil in the first Clásico of the tournament: El Clásico Joven.

Clausura 2025 Final Rematch
América and Pachuca will meet again after their Clausura 2025 final on Sunday, 31 August at 7:00 p.m. (CST), at Estadio Hidalgo. This stadium brings back good memories for Las Tuzas, who won 3–0 at the stadium in the first leg of the final.
