As reported by TUDN, Quiñones is set to leave Club América after just one season in the capital.

After winning the 2024 Liga MX Clausura, the Colombian-born said "I'm leaving, I'm leaving happy because I fulfilled all the expectations. I fulfilled individually, and collectively and left something for this institution. Something that will be remembered for a lifetime ".

The same report indicates that Las Águilas received an offer of $14 million from an unnamed Saudi club for the attacker's services.

At the time of writing, the latest update is from journalist César Luis Merlo who reported that the team interested in bringing the 27-year-old to the Saudi League is Al-Qadisiyah, who were recently promoted to the country's top flight.

Quiñones will be a major loss for the reigning champions. A player who recorded 33 goal contributions in his 52 games for the club, even scoring important goals during the recent playoff campaign against Pachuca and Cruz Azul. During his time in the capital, he switched his allegiances to represent Mexico at an international level and has been called up for the upcoming Copa América.
