Last month, it was reported that León was in talks to sign former Real Madrid and PSG goalkeeper Keylor Navas.

The Costa Rican was released by PSG back in May after playing second fiddle to the Italian Euro 2020 winner Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Aged 37, Navas is looking for the next step of his illustrious career, with many reports suggesting that it could be in Mexico.

Now that he is free on the market, teams are lining up for his signature. A three-time UEFA Champions League winner, Navas has a staggering list of trophies in his cabinet.

The goalkeeper has hinted at the idea of remaining in Europe, even possibly returning to Spain. He previously spent eight years in the country between Levante and Real Madrid. Rumours suggest thatReal Vallecano and Cádiz are interested in bringing the experienced shot-stopper to their club this summer.

Elsewhere, it appears that there is interest for the goalkeeper to join the newly formed MLS side San Diego FC. Following the arrival of Hirivng Lozano, the club wants to form a strong Latino supporter group from either side of the border. In an attempt to rally support, the club are looking at their options with both Guillermo Ochoa and Navas being ideal signings.

Which will be Keylor Navas' next club? Will he remain in Europe, particularly in Spain, or will he venture away with potential options in the United States and Mexico providing food for thought?
