Liga MX All Stars Heading to Columbus Ohio

Liga MX will have their top talent battle it out against the all stars of the MLS.

The best of both worlds takes on Ohio this July 24.

The game will feature the best and most outstanding players from 2023-24 according to the official Columbus Crew site. Those players were selected through voting this year. Target stores is being used as the sponsor for the event.

The event will also include some other smaller spectacles. There will be a concert with the artist Marshmallow as part of the All-Star festivities. There will be their futures game called the MLS NEXT All-Star Game. And since 2021, there has been the MLS All-Star Skills Challenge; this challenge will continue in Columbus. Each league has won one of the prior two skills contests.

Te two all star rosters will be comprised of twenty six players each. The MLS picks their players in three ways this year. A fan vote will put twelve players into the event. Twelve more players will be picked by Wilfried Nancy, the MLS All-Star head coach. Little is known about how the Liga mx squad will be selected, however it should be similar and competitive with the MLS.
