All 18 teams went head-to-head this weekend with one last matchday to be played before the month-long break for the League's Cup.

Atlético de San Luís 1 vs 1 Tijuana
Puebla 1 vs 2 Atlas

The weekend got underway in San Luís as the sides fought out for a point with Tijuana unable to bounce back from the midweek 3-0 loss to Cruz Azul.

Action followed in Puebla with the hosts losing their first home game of the season despite Lucas Cavallini's fourth goal in four games which was only enough to be a consolation.

Chivas 2 vs 0 Mazatlán
Monterrey 2 vs 1 Querétaro
Santos Laguna 0 vs 3 Tigres
Cruz Azul 1 vs 1 Toluca
Juárez 1 vs 2 Club América

Chivas began the Saturday affairs with a second straight win, topped off by an excellent solo goal from Cade Cowell.

Monterrey added to the woes for Querétaro with a 2-1 win, which means the visitors lost four of their opening games before the month-long break.

Tigres confirmed this weekend that they will go into the break on a high following their resounding win against Santos. The result means they tie Azul and Pumas with the best record in the league (3 wins, 1 draw, 0 defeats).

The last two games of the night fell heavily in favour of those from the capital. Both Azul and América found themselves trailing but goals from Henry Martin, also marking his fourth goal of the campaign, and Javier Aguirre completed the comeback late into the game. Azul dropped their 100% record for the season but will feel relieved that they stole a point as Ángel Sepulveda headed home to steal a point against high-flying, unbeaten Toluca.

Pumas 2 vs 0 Pachuca
León 1 vs 1 Necaxa

Pumas continued their unbeaten streak with a comfortable win over CONCACAF Champions League winners Pachuca, leaving them only 2nd on goal difference, behind Azul at the break.

The final game saw the spoils shared as the visitors opened the scoring through Fernando Acre before León responded from Jhonder Cadíz who has scored three in his last two for the club.
