Mazatlán vs Querétaro
Tijuana vs Pachuca

Mazatlán and Querétaro make up two of the bottom three clubs in the Liga MX table right now. Whilst Los Gallos are unbeaten in their last three games, Mazatlán is winless in any of the last five games (three draws, two losses). Across the recent meetings between these two, Querétaro has failed to win any of the last four, stretching back to February 2022. Since then, the Sinaloa side has won the last two meetings and drawn the previous set of matches.

Los Xolos returned to winning ways last week after a narrow 1-0 victory against Mazatlán. As for Pachuca, they were unable to hold on after taking the lead against league leaders Cruz Azul. Whilst Tijuana sits higher in the league, Pachuca has won the last two meetings with 3-2 wins home and away during the 2023/24 campaign.

San Luís vs Monterrey
Cruz Azul vs Necaxa
Tigres vs Puebla
Toluca vs Pumas
Chivas vs Atlas
León vs Club América

Los Rayados and San Luís are two sides who come into this matchday in the playoff positions. Only two positions and four points separates the sides but the home side has recorded historic wins against some of the big clubs this season. Defeating Club América on the opening day of the season whilst handing Cruz Azul its first loss of the season, now Domenec Torrent's men aim for a similar result with the visit of Monterrey.

Cruz Azul came from behind to beat Pachuca last week and now they face a Necaxa side that is aiming to solidify its position in the playoff places. La Maquiná won both games when these two met last season and will be hoping to extend their current four point lead at the top of the table.

Tigres has recorded only one win in three but remains in 3rd place. Now, Puebla is in town in order to two around their own poor run of form whilst adding concern for Los Universitarios. The recent history between these two has favoured this weekend's home side as Tigres won all of the last three meetings and have remained undefeated against Puebla in the last seven matches.

Toluca and Pumas will meet in the State of Mexico this weekend as the 2nd and 5th will be at the Estadio Nemesio Diez. A win for the visitors will offer them the chance to climb above the weekend hosts but they will need to keep quiet Toluca striker Paulinho who contributed with 11 goals and assists across his opening 10 matches.

Now for the big game of the weekend, the derby of Guadalajara. Chivas and Atlas find themselves in 8th and 9th respectively with Saturday night's action providing opportunities for bragging rights across the city but also a chance to climb the league table. Meeting at the Estadio Akron, Chivas have managed to avoid defeat in all of the last four meetings in front of their home fans.
