Matchday three would feature nine more matches, eight red cards and 25 goals. In perhaps one of the most impactful matches, Sofascore reports a tie be ween Club América and Necaxa. A Monterrey win and a Tigres draw would help compile a three way tie atop Clausura 2024; leading the Clausura are Monterrey, Tigres and América all at three wins one tie.

Ties came across for a few matches. Pueblo and Toluca were even at one; so were Tijuana and Guadalajara. Querétero and Tigres tied and so did América and Necaxa.

The other matches resulted in wins and losses. Cruz Azul beat Mazatlán. León topped Santos Laguna. San Luis lost to Monterrey. Pumas conquered Pachuca. Atlas outlasted Juárez.

Lets get down to the all the messy reds given this week. What would be the most costly red? Who would suffer reds but still survive in their match?

González of Guadalajara would receive a red card in extra time to end the match. Esquivel of Mazatlán would notch an impactful red at minute forty one; the result would be the deciding goal just minutes later. Santos Laguna would have a costly minute 65 red on Fagúndez. Sánchez and Cambindo would basically trade reds in the América and Necaxa match. Atlas would receive two late reds and still edge Juárez 2-1. Querétaro picked up a late red on Río.
