Three matches took place yesterday in the Liga MX. Victories were achieved by América and Tigres. A tie went down in the Monterrey Querétero match.
Monterrey 1, Querétero 1
Per FotMob, the 1-1 match score was achieved by goals from two strikers. Shots (22-8) and possession (about 2-1) favored Monterrey in this match. However no more goals were scored by Monterrey than Querétero. Sometimes the attack strategy is not stronger and does not result in surpassing the opponent. Will Monterrey continue that strategy Saturday against San Luis?
Tigres UANL 2, San Luis 1
According to Soccerway, the eighteenth minute goal by San Luis was avenged in the second half twice for the Tigres win. Yes, Tigres turned the table on this one after suffering a deficit for seventy minutes to start.
Goals by Tigres would eventually come back to back. This would occur in minutes 71 and 73 of the match. Córdova and Brunetta would both take advantage of assists by Ibáñez.
Club América 2, Juárez 0
Well, what is there to say about the starts to these two teams' seasons? It couldn't be better for América reasonably as they earned their third straight 2-0 win to start the campaign. On the other side of the pitch, Juárez is yet to score as they are down in the dumps with their 0-2-1 start. Juárez has just a 0-0 tie to celebrate so far.
The game itself was fun. The first goal came in minute sixteen per Sofascore reporting recap intel. That was done by attacking center midfielder Valdés. The second goal of two came near the end of the match. In minute 84 Fidalgo put across the second goal. Malagón played the whole game in goal as he achieved the clean sheet performance.
