Tigres and Puebla will faceoff tonight. According to Scorebar Tigres has fared rather well in the past three years against Puebla; Tigres has three wins, three ties and two losses to Puebla Since August 2021.

Tigres UANL comes in at sixth place with 21 points. They are seven points out of first place. It would take a few wins to catch first place Monterrey or even second place Club América.

Puebla looks to right the ship some. Puebla sits at the very bottom of the Clausura with five points. They do not have a win in their last five matches. They sit within five points of Atlas for fourteenth place. A win here would move them past Juárez who has only one more point than they do.i

Which offense is better? The goal disperity is striking. Puebla has managed only twelve goals in twelve matches. While one goal per match sounds okay, it will not amass the competition when it is being outscored by about one point five to one. Tigres UANL has scored nineteen goals of their own.

How about the defenses in this match? Puebla has allowed a league most thirty one goals. This is way higher than the twelve goals Tigres UANL has allowed in twelve games.

Tigres has outscored their last two opponents nine to three. While that might sound remarkable remember that only their match against Mazatlán counts in the Liga MX standings. The game prior to that was a win in the CONCACAF Champions Cup over Orlando City.

Puebla has recently had two losses and a tie. They pulled off the draw verses Atlas at two goals each. Then they went on to lose games to León and Juárez; the loses to those Liga MX teams were by just one goal in each contest
