After missing the October international break for Mexico, Raúl Jiménez and Edson Álvarez are set to return to the squad for the November international break. Both players are among the biggest names in the Mexican national team.
In October, Mexico played against Colombia and Ecuador. Mexico lost 4-0 to Colombia and drew 1-1 against Ecuador. Many Mexican fans believe that the team was missing Jiménez and Álvarez during those games.
Both players were injured and were not called up by Mexico head coach Javier Aguirre. Jiménez was out for a few weeks after suffering an injury in a Premier League match against Aston Villa in late September.

Álvarez suffered an injury in a friendly match for Mexico against Japan in September. He missed nearly a month of action and returned to action for Fenerbahce, but it was too soon to return to the Mexican national team in October.

TUDN reporter Gibrán Araige reports that both players will be called up for the November friendly matches.
