Futbol Club Barcelona Femení has officially announced on its social media platforms its upcoming visit to Mexico for two friendlies as part of its tour titled “Barça on Tour 2025".
This will be their third consecutive visit to the country, following stops in the summer of 2023 and May 2024.
The team will arrive in Mexico on August 19 and stay for a week, playing two matches against Club América Femenil and the Liga MX Femenil All-Stars, a mix of the league's very best.
The scheduled matches are:
- “Star Clash” – Friday, August 22 at 8:30 p.m. (CST) at Tigres Femenil’s Estadio Universitario in Monterrey, where Barcelona will face a Liga MX Femenil All-Star Team featuring top players from various clubs.
- Club América Femenil – Sunday, August 24 at 12:00 p.m. (CST) at Estadio Ciudad de los Deportes in Mexico City, where the Blaugranas will face familiar faces such as former Barcelona players Sandra Paños (goalkeeper) and Bruna Vilamala (forward).
The “Star Clash” will showcase the top 25 players from Liga MX Femenil, selected based on performance and fan voting, along with three public picks and two surprise additions.
