Cruz Azul 3-2 Juárez
Cruz Azul and Juárez got us underway for the weekend, and this five-goal thriller set the tone for the rest of the matchday. All five goals were scored in the first half as La Máquina's opener within two minutes of kick-off was overturned, less than twenty minutes later, Rodolfo Pizarro and Raymundo Fulgencio gave Los Bravos a surprise lead in the capital. Less than four minutes later, Azul got back in the game through Gabriel Fernández before José Paradela scored his second goal of the season to give the home side the lead.
The result moves Nicolas Lárcamon's men to the top of the table, whilst Juárez continue to hang on to a spot in the play-in positions.
Necaxa 1-0 Puebla
Necaxa ended a six-game winless rut with a narrow victory over the league's bottom side. In a hotly contested battle, Los Rayos had help from Franco Moyano, who converted into his own net as Puebla suffered a third-straight defeat.
Mazatlán 1-1 Atlas
Mazatlán and Atlas couldn't be separated but fans needed to wait for the game to kick into life. The game's opener wouldn't come until the 87th minute as Mazatlán seemed destined for maximum points, but that was until Los Rojinegros were awarded a penalty in the 104th minute, fourteen minutes into added time, which Uros Djurdjevic was able to convert.
Tijuana 5-0 León
Los Xolos made the most of their home advantage, knowing that James Rodríguez would be absent, scoring five of the best to end León's four-game unbeaten run. The result takes Tijuana into fifth, seven points off the top, whilst León occupy the final spot in the play-in places after a heavy loss on the road.

Pachuca 0-2 Querétaro
One of the biggest shocks of the week came at the Estadio Pachuca as Los Tuzos went missing against a Querétaro side that won just for the second time this season. Pachuca started the season with four wins from four but it has been five league games since then, as question marks start to rise for Jaime Lozano.
Pumas 1-1 Tigres
Pumas will still feel sick about not earning all three points this weekend, dominating against a fellow play-off rival. Aaron Ramsey had a golden opportunity to give the hosts the lead with a penalty but failed to hit the target before chances for Guillermo Martínez and Jorge Ruvalcaba soon came. Pumas' frailties in front of goal continued before JJ Macías broke the deadlock with a lethal finish inside the box, adding to his debut goal against Mazatlán last week. Despite controlling the game, there was enough time for Tigres to be awarded a penalty, which Ángel Correa was able to dispatch, with Keylor Navas unable to push away.
Chivas 0-3 Toluca
Chivas return to familiar ways despite their Clásico Nacional victory last week, slumping to a three-nil loss to reigning champions Toluca. To make matters worse, Guadalajara-born Alexis Vega managed to get himself on the scoresheet to keep his former side three points adrift of the play-offs.
Monterrey 2-2 Club América
The weekend's highlight fixture came at the Estadio BBVA as league leaders Monterrey hosted a Club América side hot on their heels. Doménec Torrent's side raced into an early lead before Sergio Canales doubled their advantage before half-time. Just as Monterrey seemed set for an eighth consecutive victory, América hit late with goals from Rodrigo Aguirre and Ramon Juárez, who rose above Sergio Ramos with a header to equalise seconds left on the clock.
