Thursday, July 31

Tijuana 2-2 Atlas

Atlas opened the scoring in the 32nd minute with a goal from Brenda Ceren, but five minutes is all it took for Tijuana to respond as Kassandra Ceja equalized for the home team.

In a match full of chances, Ceren completed her brace in the 68th minute to give the visitors the lead once again. Despite Atlas's strong defense, Kader Hançar equalized just two minutes later, and the match ended in a 2-2 draw.

Friday, August 1

Necaxa 1-1 León

León has looked strong throughout the season, showing maturity and steady growth, and they opened the scoring in the 38th minute through Sindia Arteaga, but couldn’t hold the lead until the final whistle.

With just 10 minutes left on the clock, Samantha Calvillo scored the equalizer for Necaxa, leaving both sides unsatisfied, sharing a point each.

Tigres 5-0 Mazatlán

Tigres is beginning to stamp its authority, scoring in bunches with their reinforcements and stars stepping up to carry the team and prove their title credentials.

Jenni Hermoso netted a brace, with additional goals from Diana Ordóñez, María Sánchez, and an own goal by Vasthy Delgado rounding out the 5-0 win at Estadio Olímpico Universitario.

Mazatlán heads home with a heavy loss but high spirits as they look ahead to Matchday 5.

Sunday, August 3

Puebla 0-5 Monterrey

After suffering a heavy defeat to Pumas in Matchday 1, Las Rayadas are on the rise. A hat-trick from Emily Gielnik, a debut goal from Carol Cázares, and a final strike from Allison Veloz sealed a convincing away win for Monterrey.

This version of Monterrey looks renewed, more focused, and determined to improve. A far cry from the side that lost the Campeón de Campeonas final to Pachuca, they’re proving themselves playoff-worthy.

Club América 11-0 Querétaro

Las Águilas crushed Querétaro on their home turf with a historic result. Los Gallos started the tournament showing promise compared to past seasons, but they suffered a major setback in this round.

Montserrat Saldívar scored four goals, and Kiana Palacios added a hat-trick to lead América to the biggest win of the season so far. Bruna Vilamala scored her first Liga MX Femenil goal and looks likely to add more soon. Kimberly Rodríguez, Irene Guerrero, and Scarlett Camberos also got on the scoresheet, while Querétaro added to their misery with a red card for Daniela Carrandi in the 85th minute. A tough match for the visitors, and a dream night for the home team and their fans.

Monday, August 4

Atlético San Luis 0-2 FC Juárez

Las Potosinas hosted Las Bravas on Monday afternoon and fell 2-0, recording their third loss of the tournament. Goals from Liliana Mercado and Jasmine Casarez secured the win for Juárez.

The northern team looks solid and prepared, surprising many with their consistency. Whether at home or on the road, they’ve shown they can compete and collect points.

Pumas 3-1 Cruz Azul

The team from Ciudad Universitaria continues to dominate the tournament and logged another big win, this time over another top-table team. After thrashing Las Rayadas in Matchday 1, they now got the better of city rivals Cruz Azul.

Goals from Stephanie Ribeiro and Nayely Bolaños, along with an own goal from Lía Martínez, gave Pumas a commanding lead. Valeria Miranda pulled one back for the visitors, but it wasn’t enough, and the three points stayed at Estadio Olímpico Universitario.

Pachuca 1-2 Toluca

Led by their reinforcements and new French coach, Toluca is shaping up as a serious title challenger, aiming to add their first trophy to the cabinet.

Goals from Faustine Robert and Shanice Van de Sanden gave Las Diablas a crucial win at the home of the reigning champions. Charlyn Corral scored to narrow the gap, but it wasn’t enough to stop Toluca from taking all three points.

Santos Laguna 2-1 Chivas

Las Laguneras pulled off the biggest upset of the round by defeating Chivas at home. Under coach Jhonathan Lazcano, they earned three hugely valuable points.

Lía Romero opened the scoring in the 36th minute for the home team. Kimberly Guzmán equalized from the penalty spot in the 56th minute for Chivas. But in stoppage time, a second penalty was awarded to Santos, and Sandra Nabweteme converted to give her team a dramatic and well-earned victory.
