Mexico will play Colombia and Ecuador in October. Mexico will play Japan, South Korea, and Colombia in the United States, while the friendly against Ecuador is set to be played in the Estadio Akron.

Mexico will play Uruguay on November 15 at the Estadio Corona in Torreón, Mexico; Santos Laguna's stadium.

Plans for Mexico Friendlies 2026

Mexico will not play in another official competitive tournament before the 2026 World Cup, and new reports suggest the Mexican national team may organize more friendlies against elite European national teams.

According to Luis Castillo, the Mexican national team will look to at two European national teams next year to play at the opening of the Estadio Azteca in March, three months before the start of the World Cup.

The reports suggest that Mexican national will look to play either Spain or Germany in March at the Estadio Azteca. The most likely option could be Germany, as Spain is reported to plan a match against Argentina in the Finalissima final.

Mexican fans online are mixed about returning to the Azteca against a top team like Spain and Germany, as some believe it could go wrong for the team, while others like the challenge.
