This is a young team with two twenty years olds and mostly players within their twenties. Dieter and the two goalies are the oldest at ages 32, 32 and 31. All players are very light and fit weighing under 200 pounds each; a few players even weigh in under 140 pounds.
Copa América features an initial group play round. It will have four groups encompassing 14 teams. Mexico is in group B where the team will face Equator, Venezuela, and Jamaica. Consider it good luck that Argentina is not in the same group. Mexico should come in under Argentina as a favorite do succeed but not the favorite to win the cup.
