Some Liga MX transfers have caught global attention whilst others have gone a little more under the radar.

This summer has welcomed former FA Cup and Serie A winner Aaron Ramsey to Mexico as Tigres unveiled their newest big-name signing in ex-Atlético Madrid playmaker Angel Correa.

Big name deals have helped build excitement and anticipation for the new campaign, but these are some of the other deals to look out for this season:

Pedro Vite: Pumas

One of the most under-looked moves of the summer is Ecuadorian midfielder Pedro Vite's move to Los Univeristarios from the Vancouver Whitecaps.

Breaking the club's record transfer fee, Vite joins the club for $7 million, surpassing the $4.2 million spent on Nico Castillo in 2017.

Vite signs on a four-year contract in an attempt to bolster Efraín Juárez's midfielder as the 23-year-old is set to accompany former Arsenal and Juventus' Aaron Ramsey in the middle.

Tomás Jacob: Necaxa

Tomás Jacob made his Necaxa debut last night in a 3-1 victory against Querétaro after signing for the club from Argentine outfit Newell's Old Boys.

The 21-year-old will be familiar with Los Rayos' new head coach, Fernando Gago, who managed against him last season with Boca Juniors and would have personally scouted the young defender to become one of his first recruitments.

Jacob brings versatility to Necaxa, offering options as a defensive midfielder, right-back, or centre-back, as the club looks to tighten up the leakiest defence among last season’s top 10 teams.

Raymundo Fulgencio: FC Juárez

On the move again is Raymundo Fulgencio, who leaves Tigres after just one season back at the club.

Prior to his return to the north, Fulgencio spent two seasons with Atlas, where he provided eight assists.

Now, the 25-year-old has signed for FC Juárez, a team on the rise after securing its second-best league finish in last season’s Clausura, placing ninth.

If Fulgencio gets the nod this week, as chance would have it, he will be returning to his former side to face Tigres at the Estadio Universitario with the opportunity to seek immediate revenge.
