Club América returns to the Estadio Ciudad de los Deportes to host Club León for the 16th match week of the 2025 Apertura.
Las Águilas have already qualified for the Liguilla, while León has no possibility to play in the playoffs. América will look to climb up the table as the top positions are close based on points.
América is currently 4th in the league table with 31 points after 15 matches played. Their record is nine wins, four draws, and two losses.
They recently dropped points across the last three matches in the 2025 Apertura. In their previous match, América drew 2-2 with Mazatlán away from home. América avoided defeat as Brian Rodriguez scored a late equalizer in the 89th minute.

Club León is eliminated from the Apertura 2025 but still has two regular games remaining, including the América match tonight.
León is 17th in the league with 13 points and has a record of three wins, four draws, and eight losses. Their previous match ended a four-game losing streak in the league.
