The center back pairing is likely Johan Vásquez and Jesus Orozco. The midfield will also look different as Edson Álvarez suffered an injury against Japan. The midfield trio could be Marcel Ruiz, Erick Sanchez, and Erik Lira.
The forwards for the match are expected to be a trio of Hirving Lozano, Raul Jiménez, and Diego Lainez.
South Korea
South Korean forward Jae-Sung Lee suffered an injury during the match against the USMNT. He provided the assist for Son Heung-min's opener against the USMNT. The rest of the squad remains fit and ready for the match against Mexico.
The goalkeeper is expected to be the experienced Hyeon-Woo Jo, with a back five of Tae-Seok Lee, Ju-Sung Kim, Min-jae Kim, Han-Beom Lee, and Young-Woo Seol.
The midfield could include Kang-In Lee, Seung-Ho Paik, Jin-Gyu Kim, and Dong-Gyeong Lee. The striker is expected to be the LAFC star Son Heung-min.
