The classics did not disappoint either: América secured an exciting win against Pumas at Ciudad Universitaria, and Chivas controlled the Tapatío Derby over Atlas. Tigres 2-3 Pachuca
The showdown at El Volcán was a thrilling back-and-forth battle. Tigres struck first with a goal from María Sánchez in the 19th minute, but Pachuca responded with vengeance. Charlyn Corral equalized before halftime, and Ohale Osinachi gave the visitors the lead right after the restart. Both sides were back level when Diana Ordóñez brought Tigres back into the game, but Chinwendu Ihezuo sealed the victory for Pachuca in the 75th minute.

Club Tijuana 1-2 Atlético San Luis
Despite dominating the match with possession and chances, Tijuana was stunned by San Luis’ clinical finishing. Rebeca Contreras opened the scoring for the visitors in the 32nd minute, but Daisy Ojeda equalized just before halftime. When Tijuana seemed destined to take control, Enyerliannys Higuera netted the decisive goal in the 81st minute to secure an unlikely win for San Luis.
The statistics tell the story: Tijuana fired 18 shots on target compared to just one from San Luis. The home side also won more corners but couldn’t capitalize. Even with Farlyn Caicedo’s red card, San Luis managed to hold on, pulling off one of the most remarkable wins of the weekend.
Monterrey 3-1 Santos Laguna

Santos only found a late consolation through Vivian Ikechukwu in the 89th minute.

Pumas 2-3 Club América
The Capital City Derby was full of twists and excitement. Club América struck first with a goal from Kiana Palacios in the 10th minute. Pumas responded quickly after halftime, with Ana Mendoza and Stephanie Ribeiro scoring back-to-back goals to turn the game around. However, América regained control as Irene Guerrero equalized in the 60th minute, and Scarlett Camberos sealed the comeback just two minutes later.
Pumas registered seven shots on target, but América’s sharpness in key moments made the difference. With dominance on set pieces and greater composure in front of goal, Las Águilas walked away from Ciudad Universitaria with a valuable and hard-fought victory.
Atlas 0-2 Chivas
The Tapatío Derby was a one-sided affair. Chivas took the lead early in the second half when a Dirce Delgado own goal put them ahead in the 46th minute. The visitors kept pressing and doubled their advantage through star striker Alicia Cervantes in the 68th minute, putting the game out of Atlas’ reach.
Chivas’ superiority was undeniable, registering 15 shots on target while Atlas failed to produce a single attempt. With 13 corners and constant pressure, Guadalajara dominated every aspect of the game, claiming a decisive win over their city rivals.
FC Juárez 0-0 Toluca
In the border clash, FC Juárez and Toluca battled to a goalless draw. Both teams had their chances but lacked the finishing touch to break the deadlock. Strong defensive work and key saves defined the match.

The contrast in statistics was striking: Necaxa managed just two shots on target but scored three times, while Cruz Azul had nine attempts. La Máquina also suffered a setback with the red card to Valeria Valdez, making the draw a bittersweet result despite their attacking dominance.

León 2-2 Querétaro
The Bajío clash was as close as expected. Querétaro went ahead in the 38th minute through Edna Santamaría, but León struck back after halftime with Yashira Barrientos levelling the game. The visitors regained the lead thanks to Victoria Ceceña in the 74th minute, only for Ruth Bravo to equalize nine minutes later and secure a point for León.
León controlled the game statistically, registering six shots on target and more corners. Querétaro, however, was extremely effective with their limited chances. The result left both teams sharing the spoils in an intense regional battle.
Mazatlán 1-1 Puebla
Mistakes marked the duel between Mazatlán and Puebla. The match started with an own goal by Vasthy Delgado in the 3rd minute, gifting Puebla the lead. Mazatlán kept pushing and finally found the equalizer in the 77th minute through Sinoxolo Cesane.
