Club América met Monterrey in the heavyweight clash in the capital as Cruz Azul headed to Toluca for a meeting of the Apertura's top two sides.

Necaxa 4-1 San Luis
Necaxa made it a first win in four in style by putting four goals past San Luis, before Joao Pedro scored an added time penalty to possible net for the final time with rumours increasing of a potential exit to Cruz Azul.
Tigres 5-1 Santos Laguna
Los Guerreros conceded four last week against Pumas and made things even worse in Monterrey this weekend with a heavy defeat against Tigres. The result leaves Santos with only one point from an opening five matches whilst Los Felinos jump into second.
Mazatlán 1-2 Chivas
Two goals in the first half help Chivas maintain a perfect start to season, albeit with a slight scare after Yoel Barcenas scored his first goal of the year.

Tijuana 0-0 Puebla
It was all quiet at the Estadio Corona in a result that leaves both side with only one win to their name since the turn of 2026.
Saturday 7th February 2026
Querétaro 2-0 León
Querétaro dominated against 10-men León who never got going in this one. Despite a missed penalty from Mateo Coronel, two goals from Jhojan Julio either side of half time helped Los Gallos to a first league win of the season.
Toluca 1-1 Cruz Azul
Points were shared between last season's top two teams in the Apertura regular season. Toluca seemed on course for a crucial three points when Paulinho put them in-front, but they were denied by La Máquina's in-form man, José Paradela, who scored a fifth goal in as many games.
Atlas 2-2 Pumas
Pumas took the lead twice in Guadalajara but were pegged back on both ocassions in a game where the visitors will feel disappointed not to have won. Keylor Navas couldn't keep Mateo Garcia's tame effort away from goal both a last minute equaliser shattered Pumas hearts.
Pachuca 2-0 Juárez
Los Tuzos made it four games without defeat as Salómon Rondón scored his first goal since returning to the club following a six month spell in Spain with Real Oviedo.
Club América 1-0 Monterrey
All eyes were on this heavyweight clash between Club América and Monterrey, a fixture which most recently saw Los Rayados knock América out of the Apertura playoffs. In what was a close battle, América found their revenge as Alejandro Zendejas scored the only goal of the game.
