The goal fests led by Tigres and Rayadas stood out for their dominance, while América reaffirmed its ability to finish matches early, and Chivas managed to grind out a win in a tighter contest.

At the same time, several draws demonstrated just how balanced the league can be. Pachuca and Cruz Azul played out a dramatic match with multiple twists, while Atlas and Toluca delivered an end-to-end battle. Here’s a full recap of the action.

Tijuana 2-0 Querétaro

Tijuana took control early in the game against Querétaro. With good rhythm and possession, the home side opened the scoring in the 14th minute through Hildah Magaia, giving them confidence to manage the match.

The visitors tried to respond but lacked precision in the final third, running into a well-organized defense. Querétaro attempted to create danger from the flanks, but without much clarity.

In the second half, Roselord Borgella extended the lead in the 73rd minute, sealing Tijuana’s victory. With this result, the home side earned three valuable points, while Querétaro left without being able to score.

Club América 4-0 FC Juárez

América showed absolute dominance from the opening whistle, leaving Juárez with no reaction time. By the 8th minute, they were already up 2-0 thanks to goals from Scarlett Camberos (4’) and Kiana Palacios (8’), setting off celebrations at the Azteca.

Their high pressing prevented Juárez from finding a clear way out. In the 20th minute, Montserrat Saldívar netted the third, virtually deciding the match before halftime.

Late in the game, Alondra Cabanillas made it 4-0 in the 83rd minute. With this win, América reaffirmed its attacking power and strengthened its case for the top of the table, while Juárez struggled defensively.

Tigres 9-0 León

Tigres were an unstoppable force against León, putting on a devastating attacking display. Diana Ordóñez opened the scoring in the 17th minute, followed shortly after by Jhennifer Da Silva in the 20th, setting the stage for a historic rout.

Star striker Jennifer Hermoso shone with four goals (28’, 57’, 69’, 87’), supported by strikes from Aaliyah Farmer (34’), Da Silva again (78’), and Natalia Colín (86’). Tigres gave no respite throughout the match. With a crushing 9-0 result, Tigres made their dominance in the league clear. León could not respond and looked completely outmatched tactically and physically.

Pachuca 2-2 Cruz Azul

The match in Hidalgo was filled with drama and changes on the scoreboard. Cruz Azul struck first with a goal from Aerial Chavarin in the 19th minute, but Pachuca answered with Charlyn Corral in the 29th.

In the second half, Corral scored again in the 63rd to turn the game around, lifting the home crowd. However, the visitors refused to give up, and Ana Martínez equalized in the 84th. The 2-2 result reflected the intensity of a match with chances for both sides. Pachuca missed out on victory late, while Cruz Azul showed grit to snatch a point on the road.

Monday, September 29

Pumas 1-2 San Luis

San Luis struck early with Rebeca Contreras scoring in the 3rd minute, catching Pumas off guard at home. With disciplined defending and quick counters, the visitors disrupted the home team’s game plan.

Before halftime, Enyer Liannys Higuera doubled the lead in the 42nd minute, forcing Pumas to chase the game in the second half. The home side dominated possession but couldn’t find accuracy in the final third.

Atlas 2-2 Toluca

The match between Atlas and Toluca was a back-and-forth battle with plenty of drama. Toluca took control just before halftime with two quick goals: Faustine Robert in the 45th and Eugénie Le Sommer in the 46th.

Atlas came alive in the second half, pulling one back through Victoria Acevedo in the 66th minute. The push continued until the end, when Kayla Fernández equalized in the 90th.

The 2-2 score was a fair reflection of the match. Toluca let a key lead slip away, while Atlas was rewarded for their persistence in the closing minutes.

Necaxa 0-5 Rayadas

Rayadas showed their full power with a commanding win over Necaxa. Alice Soto opened the scoring in the 31st, followed by Fátima Servín in the 39th, making the first half one-sided.

In the second half, Monterrey’s attack didn’t slow down. Diana Evangelista scored the third in the 60th, and late goals from Lucía García (83’) and Katty Martínez (86’) completed the 5-0 rout.

Necaxa had no response to the relentless attack, while Rayadas showcased their squad depth and confirmed their position as one of the league’s top contenders.

Santos Laguna 1-0 Puebla

The match remained tight for almost the entire 90 minutes, with few clear chances and most of the action in midfield. Puebla defended well, resisting Santos’ constant attempts.

When it seemed destined for a goalless draw, Renata Ramírez struck in the 90th minute to hand Santos a dramatic victory. The late goal set off celebrations among the home crowd. With this result, Santos secured three vital points at home, while Puebla left empty-handed despite nearly holding out the entire match.

Tuesday, September 30

Mazatlán 0-1 Chivas

Chivas claimed a valuable away win in Mazatlán thanks to Denise Castro’s 34th-minute goal. The strike came after a well-crafted play that broke down the home defense. Mazatlán tried to respond but lacked attacking depth to threaten Guadalajara’s backline. Chivas controlled possession and looked to extend their lead, but couldn’t find a second goal. In the end, the lone strike was enough to secure three points. Mazatlán, meanwhile, continues to struggle for consistency and finds it difficult to compete against stronger opponents.

This matchday left behind an interesting mix: teams like Tigres, Rayadas, and América dominated with big wins, while others such as Pachuca, Atlas, and Cruz Azul provided thrilling, hard-fought encounters. The results showed that Liga MX Femenil continues to grow in competitiveness.

The intensity, goals, and surprises prove that every week has something special for the fans. Northern teams continue to dominate, but other clubs are pushing to break that narrative and challenge at the top.
