Will Anthony Martial Play for CF Monterrey vs Club América Tonight?

Monterrey’s match against Club América is already one of the most anticipated matches of the 2025 Apertura season. Both teams are among the best in the league.

The best is 2nd place vs 3rd place, but besides that, Rayados are excited to potentially see their newest signing, Anthony Martial.

The former Manchester United striker arrived in Monterrey earlier this week and was officially presented at a press conference last night ahead of the match against Club América.

Martial mentioned on his arrival that he felt ready to play as soon as possible. The striker was announced as a new Monterrey player last week and missed the match against Querétaro.

According to Felipe Galindo of Multimedios Deportes, Martial is expected to play against Club América as he is part of the squad by Monterrey manager Domènec Torrent. Martial has already trained with the team, but he will likely not start the match.

Anthony Martial said on his press conference that he feels ready to play against Club América.

"I already feel ready. You know it's difficult with the jet lag, but I'm ready to help the team. Tomorrow if the manager wants."

Monterrey’s Special Plan for Anthony Martial

Monterrey announced that the match at Estadio BBVA is sold out for the game against Club América.
The club also announced that they will present Anthony Martial to the fans before the match.

Martial is expected to receive a special reception by the Monterrey fans who are excited to see him play for their team. Martial’s presentation in the stadium is expected to be done an hour before kickoff.

Martial's debut could either be against Club América tonight or next week against the Liga MX champions Toluca at the Nemesio Diez.
