Club León welcomed back Ignacio 'Nacho' Ambríz to the club after coaching the team back in 2018 to 2021. Ambríz led León to their eighth league title in their history in the Torneo Guardianes 2020.
León has six games left to pick up points and dream of potentially reaching the playoff positions. Ambríz's first match back as León manager is against the Liga MX champions, Toluca.

Toluca won the Campeones Cup earlier this week after beating LA Galaxy 3-2 in Los Angeles. Toluca has won their six matches across all competitions.
Toluca has also scored at least three goals in its last six matches. Toluca is first in the league with 25 points with a record of eight wins, one draw, and two losses.
The champions' previous match in Liga MX was last weekend at the Nemesio Diez as they beat Mazatlán 3-1.
