The second leg of the semifinals of the Apertura 2025 in Liga MX will be played tonight, and the first game will be the second leg of Toluca vs Monterrey. Both teams played each other in the first leg during the week at Estadio BBVA.

Monterrey were leading 1-0 at halftime. Monterrey were able to maintain that 1-0 lead until full time, but Toluca created many chances and were unlucky to score.
Toluca took 14 shots, and five were on target. The man of the match was Monterrey's goalkeeper, Luis Cardenas, who made five crucial saves. Toluca also hit the woodwork twice.
With Toluca hosting Monterrey at the Nemesio Diez, the reigning champions need to win the match to go through to the final. Monterrey is currently leading the aggregate score, and a win or draw puts them in the final.
