The FIFA U-20 World Cup in Chile has already started, and one of the players who is highly regarded in the tournament is Gilberto Mora. The 16-year-old Mexican attacking midfielder is one of the youngest players in the tournament, but is seen as one of the best players of the tournament.

Mora already has experience with the senior Mexican National Team and has won the 2025 Gold Cup with Mexico as a starter. Mora is expected to be part of the Mexican National Team roster for the 2026 World Cup due to his performances with Club Tijuana in Liga MX.

With all the recognition he has received, Mora is now in the eyes of top European clubs, including Manchester United. According to Graeme Bailey of TBR Football, Manchester United have sent scouts to the U-20 World Cup in Chile to keep an eye on Mora.

Manchester United is among the teams that are reportedly interested in signing Mora. Mora cannot join a European club until he turns 18, which will be next year, on October 14, 2026.

Where and How to Watch U-20 Mexico's Debut in the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup?

Mexico's U-20 team will make their debut in the 2025 U-20 World Cup against Brazil's U-20 team tonight. The match will kick off at 7 p.m. ET/ 4 p.m. PT in the United States. The match will start at 5 p.m. in Mexico City. For local time in Chile, the match will start at 8 p.m.

The U-20 Brazil vs U-20 Mexico match will be shown on Telemundo Network, FS1, fuboTV, and on FOX Sports in the United States.

Mexico U-20 team is in Group C with Brazil U-20, Morocco U-20, and Spain U-20.
