A new Liga MX season is almost underway, and with it comes the 29th edition of the MLS All-Star Game, where 30 of the best players of the season from Liga MX will face off against the MLS All-Star squad.
The match promises to be a true spectacle, featuring not only the game itself but also various competitions such as the MLS All-Star Skills Challenge, where players showcase their technical abilities.
For this reason, Liga MX has announced the roster that will represent Mexico. The list consists of 28 players, and in the coming days, Mikel Arriola, executive president of Liga MX, may add two more players to complete a 30-man squad.
The Mexican league team is coming off a 4-1 victory in the last edition held in 2024. However, the two previous matches ended in wins for the United States representative team.
The Call-ups
The announced list includes 28 players, 14 of whom were either nominated for or winners of the Liga MX Ballon d'Or in its latest edition. The team will be managed by André Jardine, coach of Club América, who led the club to a three-peat and was named Best Coach.

When and Where Will It Take Place?
The 29th edition of the All-Star Game will be held on Wednesday, 23th of July at 7:00 PM (CST) at Q2 Stadium in Austin, Texas. It's set to be a major attraction for fans of both leagues, eager to enjoy and watch their top players shine as they have all season.
