The 2025 Apertura Final is set, and after two legs in their semifinals, Toluca and Tigres will be playing in two legs for the final this week. It is the first time Toluca and Tigres have met in a Liga MX final since the league started doing two league seasons per year.

Liga MX officially revealed the dates and times for the two legs of this 2025 Apertura Final. The first leg will be played at Tigres' Estadio Universitario, and the second leg will be played at Toluca's Nemesio Diez.

The first leg between Toluca and Tigres will be on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at 8 p.m. local time in San Nicolás de los Garza, Mexico. The match will kick off at 9 p.m. ET/ 6 p.m. PT in the United States.
The last time Tigres hosted Toluca was in the first leg of the semifinal of the 2025 Clausura, which was on May 17, 2025. The match finished in a 1-1 draw between Tigres and Toluca.
The second leg, the last match of the Apertura 2025, will be on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at 7 p.m. local time in Toluca, Mexico. The match will kick off at 8 p.m. ET/ 5 p.m. PT in the United States.
The last time Toluca hosted Tigres at the Nemesio Diez was in the regular season of the 2025 Apertura. Tigres defeated Toluca 4-3 on July 26, 2025, in the third match week of the season.
